I am an Emmy-nominated, award-winning documentary and commercial cinematographer and editor. In my current role as Director of Video at the non-profit newsroom 100 Days in Appalachia, I work with the newsroom to produce, shoot and edit our documentary reporting work while leading a small team of staff and freelancers. Within the broader scope of social justice, I focus on the intersections of extremism, labor, protest, and policing. I excel at small-team, story-driven and verité filmmaking.

My shooting and editing work for documentary and reporting has appeared on HBO, PBS, The New York Times, The LA Times, The Intercept, More Perfect Union, Topic, and Means TV. I have won awards for my work on Flashpoint: Protests, Policing, and the Press and Slumlord Millionaire.

On the commercial side, I've produced, shot and edited campaigns with Converse, Adidas, New Balance, Sofar Sounds and Aventon. I also have over ten years experience editing sizzle reels and case study videos for world-renowned brands, including Timberland, Converse, and The North Face.

I live in West Virginia and am constantly on the road. When I’m not filming stories about data centers or pagan festivals, I’m layering feedback in my attic, boxing with my buds or reading at Cooper’s Rock.
