How Sunrise Movement & New Hampshire Youth Movement Won The Primary
A case can be made that Sanders won the NH primary due to the ground work by New Hampshire Youth Movement and Sunrise movement.
We spent several days ahead of the primary shooting with them. This was produced in collaboration with Teen Vogue, Sunrise and New Hampshire Youth Movement.

A short film about Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
Addison and I spent the better part of 2016 on the republican presidential campaign trail. This short film is the result.
I shot and edited this campaign video for Moumita Ahmed as a part of her race for District Leader in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens.
We were lucky to shoot this prior to the quarantine in early March in coordination with the Bernie Real Change lab.

A PBS documentary. The story of the Charleston Gazette-Mail, a family-owned, Pulitzer Prize-winning local newspaper in West Virginia fighting for survival. Directed by Gabriela Cavanagh.
I have a cinematography credit on this film. I provided b-roll of West Virginia as well as archival material that I shot from a 2017 clean power plan hearing held at the Charleston capitol building.

In the lead-up to the Iowa caucus, volunteers for Bernie Sanders’s campaign knocked on 500,000 doors; they focused on bringing out groups that don’t typically participate in caucuses, like immigrants and young people. This video follows a young Latina volunteer as she canvases and attends a satellite caucus with mostly Latino and Sudanese immigrants.

We shot this in February of 2019 while I was learning how to use the bolex ahead of shooting Olden Yolk’s “Cotton and Cane.”
And despite some obvious operator errors (light leaks from where a filter stack should have gone, underexposure from a sliding aperture ring on a broken lens, etc), we really dug the footage.
